Processional Question

Does the ring bearer go out before the rest of the bridal party or do they go after? I was thinking of having him go out first and then his parents (who are also in the party) go immediately after so that he doesn't stray

I wanted to have my Jr. BM's to go first too, but my mom said it's against tradition and won't have it! It's not something I care about that much so, I agreed. I even Googled it hoping she wasn't right :/ this was what most said:

BM
MOH
Ring Bearer
Flower Girl
Bride

I would agree. All of my research also showed BM, MOH, then the ring bearer.

I've been to weddings (and was in one) where the ring bearer/flower girl went before the MOH. In mine, our niece and nephew are so young that we will probably have them go ahead of their parents (both in the bridal party) or have the parents carry them in, depending on how they feel that day. So it'll be BM/GM, RB/FG, BM/GM, MOH, Bride. It really doesn't matter how it's 'supposed' to be done, so long as you walk in last!

Our ring bearer will be 3 yrs old by that time. Keeping our fingers crossed he will be able to walk down the aisle all by himself. Since his dad is the best man, hopefully he will see him and walk, not run lol to him. If not we have to have a plan B.
