processional song question/poll UPDATE!!!

Ok so for the longest time I have wanted to use Con ti Partiro... I absolutely LOVE that song. I would only use the instrumental as I am not sure the singer at the church would even know how to sing it in Italian.

The thing is the words of the song mean 'Time to Say Goodbye'.... I really want to use it and can look at is as a way of kind of saying goodbye to my parents (they are both walking me down the aisle) and good bye to my 'single' life.

I do have an Italian family and am sure people will know what the song is and what the words are to it. So would you still use it?

I HAVE to use it somewhere in my wedding. Like I said I LOVE LOVE LOVE it... so should I use it, and who cares, or find soemthing else

NM on the poll..... I did a little more research (see below after Shelbyloves post) and it has been sung this way (time to say goodbye) but actually translates to With You I Will Go..... so that's settled!!

I thought it meant with you I will go??? It doesnt translate as time to say goodby even though you might here it in the song.. my friend is straight off the boat italian she was just tellin me the meaning.. so its beautiful song regardless and I loooved when my friend used this:)

Actually I just googled the English lyrics and it said 'I will go with you' but I have heard it sung (on youtube) as Time to say Goodbye...

I think that just settled it and I am 100% going to use it
