Productive Weekend!

I had a great trip to LI this weekend (planning from VA)-SO PRODUCTIVE!

I showed FH the RH (LOL, I booked it without him) and he loved it.

Then off to meet with 2 DJS, Djs Unlimited and DanceJock-we immediately called DJs Unlimited and booked! It was a fantastic meeting, he new everything we wanted after 3 minutes of meeting with us. There were like 8 packages and he immediately suggested the second to cheapest! It was great. We added ambient up-lighting around the hall in soft amber color-nothing moving just like a glow throughout the room. I love it! I was thrilled with the price, it was so much cheaper than we expected.

Ring- I have pave diamonds on the side and lost one and got them fixed and had all other diamonds secured, the jeweler was mortified and fixed everything with no questions asked. I really think it was my fault though.

Priest-we met with our priest and he finally moved our wedding in their calendar from pencil to INK! We are in!!!!!!

Sounds like you're an out of state bride. I try to get as much done as possible when I take a trip up too. Congrats on being so productive!

Yep! I am in VA. I've found the best way for me to do things is to narrow down to three vendors ahead of time (through Internet research, LIW, ...), meet with them and pull the trigger!

This has worked so far on everything but the dress, but I'll get there.

You must be so excited!
