Just met with the photographer yesterday from my daughters wedding. We were ordering our albums, etc. In our package she gets 2-8x10s and a 12x18. I'm also getting some 8x10s. He mentioned framing them. We would chose the type of molding we want and he would do the framing but I don't know if it's worth it. To professionally frame the 8x10s would cost anywhere from $119 up. The larger one would be from $250 up. Has anyone framed their wedding photos? If so, have you had them done professionally or did you just buy your own frames and do it yourself? I don't want us to spend the $ if it's not necessary but we'd like the pictures to last. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Re: Professionally framed wedding pictures
that seems a little high to me to have them framed. I would actually bring the pics to Pearl Arts & Crafts, Michael's or AC Moore and price them out. I don't think they're even going to come close price wise but do the job the same.

Re: Professionally framed wedding pictures
My girlfriend owns a 'high end' photography company and while it makes a difference to get really large portraits professionally framed, she always tells her clients to go to Michaels or Pottery Barn for things like 8x10. They have nice frames and don't need any complicated matting.
