FH & I are in the middle of designing our wedding program and we can't decide what kind of paper to use. I was thinking of vellum paper on the outside and plain ivory paper in the middle. I ordered a wine colored ribbon to tie the programs together. What kind of paper did everyone use? TIA

I'm just going to go to Michaels or AC Moore and get a program making kit. I'll use whatever paper is in the kit. Hope this helps.

I was going through this stress before (you start early!!!) & just went to staples. They had quite nice program outer papers & I think I may just may not even add pages inside (but they have a thin, granite ppr that I would work). I'm focused on SIMPLICITY.

I used ivory cardstock from Michaels (65lb). Then for the outside I ordered metallic light gold vellum paper from paperandmore.com. It came really quick and is beautiful in person! Then I tied w/ a chocolate ribbon. I'm going to post pics soon.

this is what i did.... bought the program paper that's heavier for the cover and bought ivory copy paper for the inside.

About the heavier paper, make sure you printer can handle it. I ended up putting the programs in one at a time for it to come out right.
