program wording help

I'm trying to work on my program wording. I'm stuck on a line. Can anyone help me?

I'm explaining the ketubah and I say:

...According to the rabbinic principle of hiddur mitzvah, when a physical object is needed to fulfill a commandment, the object should be made as beautiful as possible....

Now I want to say something about FH making our ketubah by hand, but I don't know how to word it. Any ideas?

maybe something like 'in the spirit of beauty, xxxxx made our Ketubah by hand. The symbol of our love and devotion under Jewish Law (or Israel, whatever makes sense) will always be near and dear to our hearts'

PS I am horrible with this stuff but figured I would try.
