I see a lot of you are doing programs....What is going in them? I think we will be having the ceremony at the Reception site....but who knows...would like to tell teh guests not to overindulge at the cocktail hour as it is HUGE, followed by a HUGE course meal....copuild I put that at the bottom of the program?? LOL...

We are going to put in the names of the entire bridal party, a poem my mom wrote for us, readings for the ceremony, putting a short thank you to everyone. Also, your names in the program with where the ceremony is. Stuff like that.

frony cover - name and date inside left - order of ceremony including names of readings, songs, etc inside right - Bridal Party and Vendor names back cover - a thank you to all eho attended

We are also wondering if a prgram were appropriate since we are getting married at the reception site and the ceremony will be short. But now that I think about it, I would like to tell the history of the place we are getting married. Would that go in a program some where?

Rachel what about doing before the guests are seated at the ceremony? As the ushers sit them down, give them a program.... I think I might do this, I am getting married at my site as well.

Oh please don't remind me I'm up! FH is sick and whiny, and well, he got up at 6, and so did I. The difference being he fell back to sleep and I was left staring at the ceiling!

I got married at my hall...and Idon't think that matters to have programs...
I had pretty large programs...but they were a big hit...
page 1: our names and place and date page 2: ceremony order page 3: order of procession with names page 4-5:'blurbs' about our bridal part...i.e J and E met in junior high school. She is a graduate of NYU and is currently a senior salesperson at XYZ CO...it was a big hit...many people liked that they knew who was who in the BP page 6: a dedictaion to DH's father...we chose a day that was appropriate to his heritage and explained the meaning of the day page 7: thank yous, in memory of, and please join us for cocktails and dinner immediately following the ceremony...etc.
