my fh is trying to really keep the cost down since we are already over budget. my friend has a program on her computer and said she would help me make them. i just hate asking people for help with stuff so I will most likely not have them. they only person that will save one is YOU. it's probably just a waste.

If you want to cut the costs DIY. They have really nice ones in Michaels.

Honestly, I cannot remember ever seeing a program at any wedding I've attended. I'm sure some had it and that I just didn't pay attention to it. I guess this is one of those DIY kind of things...

I think is a waste of money to be honest. I can still follow a wedding with or without a program.

I was going to but then I decided against it. Its definitely a nice touch but I feel like people are just going to read them then toss them. JMO

they are not that important. they know who the bride & groom is. do they need to know who the bp is? and what music is playing. they don't care. they are there to see you! IMO

They're not really necessary, but I will say that I do notice when there is a program. It gives people something to look at and touch. I knew that I would lose some people's attention during my ceremony (sad, but realistic), so hopefully they appreciated my little token for them to read during the ceremony.
At the end of the day I did them for me and DH - I put one of my favorite passages from 'The Little Prince' in it, and that meant all the world to me.
No one will really care otherwise.

this is what im doing. i bought two boxes at michaels for $10 each. a $20 DIY project isn't going to break the bank, at least not for me at this point

I'm still up in the air about programs. They are the last thing on my list, if I have some time left over I'll do them but I don't think they're necessary at all.

Definitely not a necessity but I'm a sucker for paper goods so I'm doing them. I am trying to keep the costs down so the person that designed and printed my wedding invites designed a matching program cover and sent it to me in a PDF file so that I can print them and assemble them myself.

Hi love!! We are doing them because there are going to be alot of non-Jewish people at the wedding who may not understand the traditions in a Jewish Ceremony. I think they are cute!
