What did you guys do? Did you have to order them? And how much do they cost? I have a friend who is making our invitations and beer bottle labels. He was going to make our programs too. He gave me a price of $1500 for everything and I felt that was high. I don't know if you have to order programs or if the church gives you something, etc. Any info would be awesome! Here's what the breakdown is...
That sounds really high. I am going to make them myself. I basically typed up all the info with Word. Basically did it in landscape and will print them out myself. I'm going to buy a nicer color cover and I have Tessa mocking up a logo for me and was going to have her create stickers or a square cut out of our logo that I would then put on the cover. Similar to this picture.
We are in the process of making our own. We got a bunch of programs from our officiant and combined them to make one we liked. How many programs are you ordering? $1500 seems a bit high. I think I saw programs starting at $1.50 each to around $5 each.. HTH

That is very high, you can make your own from a kit. They have them in ac moore, 29.00 for 50. Or even through a website, will be cheaper than 1,500.

if they are all custom work i could see maybe $600 but $1500 is crazy

If you wanted to do the programs yourself, I saw Staples sold ones that you could put through the computer and fold (like a brochure). I think they were pretty cheap too!

i made my programs no template or anything...just got the idea in my head & went with it.
supplies: cardstock(michaels), parchment paper(walmart), double sided tape & little applicees for the top..
i used a paper cutter & a microsoft word column layout
getting the first one done was a little tedious, but i just wrote everything down...so once i got it the way i wanted, the rest were a piece of cake!
ps: i do think $1500 is a little high. i would do the beer bottle labels urself if u can...they have templates u can download right to the computer. as for the invites, i guess it depends on what ur getting. are they fancy pocketfolds or anything???
I made my own - I am currently in the process of putting them together (will contine to do that tonight.. They are 5 pages thick (which can be alot... its 2 1/2 pieces of 12x12 cardstock because it was cut into 6x12 pieces and they were $0.27 pieces a page.. The ribbon is like $1.00 a roll... and I can do like 8-10 programs per roll.. figure its roughly $1.00 a program... I think its really expensive for the programs...
