Programs for the Ceremony
Wow, two posts in one day for me! See what happens when I ave the day off! :-) Those of you who are planning to make up programs for the Ceremony, where will you get them? I am debating ordering my invitations from one of the many invitiation catalogs. Has anyone done this, either? Thanks! Dee

I plan on buying the paper at Staples and making my own programs on the computer. My friend made her own and they came out BEAUTIFUL!

I plan on getting my paper from PaperDirect. I just finished printing up my Save the Date cards that I bought at Staples. I am happy I made them as now I have all the addresses I need for the invites in my computer.

I will definitely make my own because the only styles I have liked are the ultra pricey ones. I plan on making a several page booklet program and these are just too expensive from inviatation companies. Making them myself will save me money and also allow me to make last minute changes.

Programs & Invitations
We purchased single-fold bulletins from Truevinebooks.com. They have a big selection and the prices are very reasonable ($9.95 per pack of 100). We received our order very quickly, and I made a simple text file in Microsoft Word. http://www.truevinebooks.com go to Church Supplies, then Church Bulletins, then Wedding Bulletins or try this: http://www.truevinebooks.com/st_main.html?p_catid=323&sid=AMJDWd0VS2y43pd-21102125918.8d As for invitations, I found it easier actually going to a shop. We used Bridal Boutique in Massapequa Park. I hated the hassle of HOPING the samples we requested would show up, and I also wasn`t very confident in knowing just what and how many we might need of everything. Bridal Boutique was a great help in that area, plus it was so great to go through hundreds of invitations in one sitting. We were very picky about paper quality and presentation, and our invitations came in quickly ... less than 2 weeks after being ordered.

Are programs required.......
for a 30 minute, non-denominational ceremony at the same site as the reception?

Programs are not required...
However, if you have time to make them, they are a wonderful keepsake of your ceremony (the most important part of the day!). Plus, if you are doing anything unique as part of your ceremony, you may want to explain the significance to your guests. Programs were one 'smaller' detail that I ran out of time on, and I remember wishing I had done them.Welcome New Vendors
