Programs: How far in advance?

how far in advance did/ are you doing programs?

Also I assume you spoke/ met with your RH before printing anything right?

I want to get these over with but IDK when I am supposed to meet with CB ...it's 3 months to go when do I pick the cake/ go over the details?

I want to do it NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL

I did menu and cake with RH about 2 months in advance and I didnt do my programs til 2 weeks before.

I've already bought my programs and started typing it up on my computer. I don't plan on printing it until closer to our wedding, but I've started what I could.

I don't have anything that I need from the RH before printing the programs, though. What info do you need from them?

I've been dying to do them for awhile now but I've had to wait because we still haven't 100% decided the order and content of our ceremony OR any of the songs we're using for the processional. Sigh. It's driving me NUTS to have them still on my to do list. But hopefully we'll sort everything out very soon!

ETA: I have done the basic outline of the program and included all the info I could (like the list of our wedding party etc) but can't wait to finish!

I dont really need any info from them per se, but I thought I was supposed to discuss the order of events with them?

I have the layout and all the info/ order of events ready to go.

I'm doing them now, 2 weeks in advance. I did call and book and make sure the place could do them for me about 4-5 weeks out. I just emailed her the info for them yesterday and they will be printed and assembled for me in a week or so. The officiant is who helped me figure out the order of events, not the RH (I am getting married at the RH). Is your officiant through the RH? He/she can give you the ceremony info. We are just putting the wedding party info, ceremony music info, ceremony info, and thank you/memorial of passed on the back cover.
