Do you ladies think 40 programs is enough. My total is 140. The church is at 5 and the reception is at 8. The church is in suffolk and the reception is in nassau where alot of people live. Its also a friday night.

I think 40 -50 would be plenty. I have over 300 people coming to my wedding and I think I might get 100-150

Well...I am having 200ppl and the ceremony and reception are in the same place so I am doing half...If you are anticipating about 80 going to church than thats more than enough

I'd say round it up to 50....you'd be surprised how many people come to the ceremony these days!

We are having about 200 guests and we are getting married at the church on a Friday so I do not expect a HUGE turnout. We will be ordering 50 programs

I'd say 40-50 would be a good number. Better to have a few extra than be short!

We made about 50 programs, and we defiantly had none left over, but I think its a good number, just make sure if you want a keepsake one, leave one at home

we didnt really think about programs yet but i would think at least one for every 2 guests?? do people just not take them?

I think you should err on the side of having too many than too few. IMHO, I think you should do enough to cover 80% of your guest list (although that doesn't take the number or size of groups into account). Do you have a lot of singles?

I think the OP meant that she anticipated because her wedding was on a Fri. at 5 PM and most of the guests didn't live in the county where the ceremony was taking place, that they wouldn't attend the ceremony and just show up for the reception.

i think it will probably be enough, but to play on the safe side, maybe a little bit more in case you are surprised by the turnout of people at church

I have a similar situation to you. My church is at 4 on a Friday, church is in Nassau, REception Suffolk at 7.30 I am doing 50 programs.
