Is anybody that is having a non denominational ceremony with no bells and whistles making a program for the ceremony? I want to make a program fan since it's going to be outside in July, but there isn't anything really out of the ordinary occurring during the ceremony that would need explanation on a program. Though it would be nice to list the bridal party - I'm wondering if it is really and unnecessary headache. Any newly married girls find it unnecessary or would have liked to have it? TIA

Programs (Post from 2014)
My program is in my 'Wedding Stuff' Album. It is very basic, but I wanted to have one. I asked my officiant to give me the order of events to include in the program. The whole ceremony was only 20 minutes, but he was able to give me a breakdown.

I've been thinking the same thing. When my FSIL got married last year, she made a really cute program but her ceremony was only about 20 minutes. She explained who the bridal party was, and just what people should expect. It wasn't super fancy but it was nice to look at

I love your program! Yea our ceremony is very basic, we already have a rough draft of it, so I can always run the breakdown by our Reverend.

Yea at this point it is a want. I figure it'd be nice to let the guests know how far along we are - plus cool off a bit if I can find the appropriate card stock without killing our pockets.
