Proof that other states do not do weddings like NY...(vent)

I posted this in a rant about how much I hate MA on NWR, but I was just so mad, and thinking about it, I'm just still a little po-ed. I got out of work early yesterday and one of my BMs whom I work with said, I know where there's a bunch of bridal salons on the same strip, why don't we go look at dresses (even though I pretty much found the one I want, figured why not since I haven't looked anywhere else), so we go, and of the three places I went , they ALL turned us away because they said I shouldn't bother looking at wedding dresses more than six months in advance! One woman said to me, 'We don't have anything you would like.' Without even letting me IN the store! These stores were DEAD. No one in them or anything. They wouldn't even let us look! AND they were not in a very nice area or anything. Just so weird. If I waited till 6 months before, I would be freaking that it wasn't going to come in on time or that there would be something wrong with it! So weird!

Hmmm..have not even begun checking out any bridal stores out this way...altho i do wnat to go soon to just take a look around....none of my BP is around, so maybe a few of the girls from work will wanna go...

You were leaving your job, moving here and doing private teaching and were worried about having no health insurance...

Oh, haha, I also had an insurance issue with workman's comp, too, sorry. I have a week and a half left of work(yay!), and I have private students all lined up, and I am going to go and finish my master's full time and use the school's insurance. It just seems to make sense for now. Thanks for asking! I think I'm a little slow today!

Thanks for asking I was starting to pack today, and it was weird, because only my stuff needs to be packed, and JT's stuff is staying I'm gonna miss him, but hopefully those 4 months will fly!

I'm sure you'll be busy, and I'm sure it will fly. And I'm sure you'll have some visits with eachother in between. (And remember, absence makes the heart grow fonder!)
