proofs

how many proofs do you get for cassarino and patken? do you get to keep the proofs and negatives or do you have to wait. i have heard of photographers who shoot 800-1000 proofs!

I used Cassarino and got about 350-400 proofs. They let you keep the proofs (they don't give them to you in a book though, I bought the books in Party City for $20 each) and you get the negatives when you pick up your album!!! Honestly, you go batty trying to pick out of 400, let alone 800!!!

I just got my proofs back two weeks ago. They came out AMAZING. We used Steve from Patken! We got 350 proofs in a beautiful album. No one could believe the photographer gave us the album, let alone but them all in there for us. All our other friends got their proofs in a box!

I have heard a lot of negative about Cassarino, not even on this board, from a few co workers and friends who have used them. I would definitely consider going with Patken.

I was impressed with the proof album from Patken too! I haven't counted them but there's about 300-400 pictures.

which by the way, is more than enough. If I had 800 pictures to go through - I'd go crazy. There's already too many to chose from.

I noticed from your profile that you got married at the Crescent Beach Club. I was looking there - how did it go?? Would you recommend the place? How was the food and all that??

i will be getting marrried there in june 2003. we had tried the restaraunt a number of times and the food was delicous! i reccomend it highly!!!

Hi Lisa. So I see we both used Patken and Flowers Michelle. Boy, do we have good taste! I saw your wedding picture in newsday too, I have been meaning to write you about that. You looked beautiful. I will be putting mine in the next few days but it will probably take a month or two to get in, right.

I don't have access to a scanner yet, I am looking to purchase one. But I will let you know if you like what date i will be in Newsday, so you can at least see our picture there.
