Proofs- Did you cut them up/crop them, etc.?

Did you cut up any of your proofs? We're getting the cd in April, but in the mean time I have some frames that don't fit some of the proofs and thought about cutting them to fit the frame, but at the same time I don't want to ruin them. Did anyone cut their proofs to fit frames?

TIA!

No, I wouldn't cut any of my proofs. Instead I would scan them and save them. Then you can crop them and print them out to the size you need.

This is what I did as well. Once I get the CD from the photographer, I can then crop and print out whatever ones I want, so I am not going to cut my proofs.

if you can't wait till april for your cd (i wouldnt be able to wait either lol) just scan them at target or somewhere like that and print up whatever size you need! if its copyrighted, then just hope that no one notices you printing them up! you can do it instantly there.

I had 2 sets made. One set will remain in the proof albums. The other set, I played with and scrapbooked. This was one of the reasons I wanted ownership of my digital files from day 1. I was also able to order prints in black and white and sepia, with no copyright issues. I was able to order from any online source I wanted. I was so glad that I did it this way that I am uppity and righteous about my decision.
