Re: proper attire....
Hard as someone tries... no one can upstage a bride. If they try... it's only that person who ends up looking like an assh*le.
So, I say if you want to wear white to my wedding, bring it on *****

It wouldn't bother me unless the person was trying to take attention away from me on purpose.

Re: proper attire....
funny u mention this, I was talking to FH about this recently. I told him that I hope that his side knows that to wear white to MY wedding is signing a death sentence to themselves cause my side is up to date on proper dress etiquette its a big no no. there is only one person in white and that's the bride. I agree that whoever wears white will just look silly

Re: proper attire....
OMG my mom told me she's thinking about wearing an ivory gown to my wedding and I was like WHAT?! That's not good etiquette! And she says 'the mother of the bride can wear whatever she wants' and I said yeah except white or ivory mom!!! and she said 'what do you care your dress is white' I feel like it's totally inappropriate.

I think I would not care as much if it was a guest than if it's someone you are going to be taking photos with as the bride!
