Proper equitteque help

Girls when you are sending the invitation on the outside to you put to Jane Doe and Guest or just to Jane Doe and then if she is bringing a guest she'll reply on the card inside? I have NO IDEA!!! TIA

outside the envelope--you would put the single person's name--and then on the inner envelope you would put 'Jane Doe & Guest'

Edited since LIW is blocking the address w e d alert.com for some reason. just C&P this into your browser WITHOUT the * in between

if you want to invite with a guest...you indicate it on the invitation as 'Jane DOe and GUest'

By not saying the words 'and guest' you are implying that they are invited alone.

Outer should be Mrs (etc) jane Doe

Inner Jane Doe and Guest
