Propoasl???????

We were in our apartment getting ready to go to his parents for Sunday dinner. I was sitting on our loveseat, when he turned off the football game, took my laptop from me and starred at me for about 5 minutes. It freaked me out. He just kept smiling and kissing my hand. He started to speak and at first I honestly thought he was breaking up with me, so I started to mentally plan his death. =) Then I realized what really was going on that I was just trying to breath. I didnt hear 90% of it. lol. My response was 'are you sh*tting me' (My mom must be so proud. haha!) I finally said YES. Hug. Kiss. Kiss. Kiss. Hug. Unknown to me, he recorded the proposal. We went to his parents' house, where he planned a surprise party with a handful of his family, a bunch of friends and some of my family.

The way Joe and i met had to be fate...nothing else can explain it. The proposal couldn't have been more perfect (for us). We went ice skating in NYC's Bryant Park. We had the most magical day (it was supposed to rain all day and it didnt; the weather held out). We ice skated and held hands and just enjoyed eachother. As we were leaving Bryant Park, it began snowing. Joe said the most beautiful words to me and then got down on one knee in the middle of rush hour in manhattan and asked me to be his wife. 1991: Met at the local bowling alley because we had mutual friends

1991-2000 friends.

2000: He asked me out but I told him that I ' had to think about it' I acually made him wait 7 weeks to give him the answer of ' No' I got back with an ex and he started dating someone else. We still remained friends

2000-2004 still stayed the best of friends

April 2004- we kissed for the 1st time in the parking lot of the hospital where my best friend had her baby

May 2004- Went to the Bahamas (as friends) down there realized that there was much more between us and started dating

Dec 2007: He asked my parents for marriage

December 2007 (Christmas Eve) Proposed:

We were getting ready to go to his sisters house and we were putting presents in the car. He told me that he wanted to give me one of my presents early. I go to walk in the house, he stopped me and got on one knee and popped the question in the driveway as I stood there speechless.

July 2008:

We met Feb 2005

He wanted to propose by summer of 2005, but he still didn't have a steady job and I was about to start grad school again, so I kept telling him to hold off on the proposal until we were both (or at least 1 of us) more stable.

He proposed Friday, May 25, 2007...I knew it was coming because we had discussed what sort of ring I wanted, but he was 'in charge' of the where, when, how part.

He was SO excited to propose that it was almost too evident he was going to do so...he got out of work an hour early, and called to tell me to get to his house ASAP. He said he was going to take me somewhere but he couldn't tell me where we were going or what we were doing...it would have been better if he just said he was going to propose because it was so obvious by that time, but I didn't let on that I knew.

He took me to Wave Hill in Riverdale, Bronx, about 15 minutes before they were closing...the folks at the admission desk even gave us free passes to return another day to enjoy it for longer (they made us pay to get in even for those 15 minutes).

We walked around for a bit, found a spot that overlooked the Hudson, and he proposed there!

It was very sweet and nice, but we couldn't stat there for long since the place was closing.

And now we're 11 months away from our wedding!!!

April 1999: Started talking because I thought I was going to try out for his band as a singer (thank GOD that never happened)- still with an ex

May 1999: Ex and I break up and I ask Dan to the prom as an act of desperation because I had no one to go with- he says no LOL (i got a date and I was prom queen so no worries....)- we're still friends

August 14, 1999: I throw a 'going away' party for myself when my parents go away for the weekend and FH and I get to talking. He slept in my bed with me that night because I'm a slut and we did NOTHING because he's a prude The next morning we had our first kiss.

September 25, 1999- He asks me to be his gf

September 25, 2006- He asks me to be his wife at the edge of the Canadian Horsehoe falls at Niagara Falls. Has the ring custom designed so that there are 7 diamonds on each side- one side for him, one side for me and the center is for 'us'


April 18, 2008- FOUR MONTHS FROM TODAY!- We FINALLY get married

FH came to visit me in Grenada (for those of you who don't know where that is, it's one of the last Caribbean Islands) because I was doing my first 3 years of veterinary school there.....He had asked my parents permission the night before his flight and he could barely wait to pop the question....He proposed right after I picked him up from the airport....I was shocked and totally not expecting it.
Moved in together: June 2007 (he moved to North Carolina with me while I finish my last year of vet school....we'll be back in NY for good in May when I finally graduate, THANK GOD)
Wedding: October 25, 2008 sooooo excited

We met Fall of 2000 through friends. We kept in touch for a few years (talked on the phone and im) and saw each other once or twice a Dave show. But I was in a relationship and he was living in Boston.

Oct. 12, 2002 it all changed.

July 4, 2007 he proposed. We were out at the Vineyards -- he had it all set up with balloons and flowers (for my birthday too!) and then had a the sweetest words hand written on a champagne bottle. He got down on one knee and asked. After I answered with 'Are you Serious?' I then said yes!!!

Nov. 1, 2008 We will become Mr.&Mrs.

Kevin and Kristin go to the 'sky deck' of the ship and stand with each other by the railing laughing and enjoying each others company. Well me and FH have been dating for 9 years. Our anniversary was on August 6, and FH's birthday was on August 9. So he suggested going to Montauk since we have never been to the lighthouse. We get there and we go up to the top and there is this little balcony, I was admirning the view and he was waving the box in front of me saying I have something to ask you! I was SO shocked! He said after 9 years you are still the best birthday present I have ever gotten will you marry me? I said no at first (just joking) and he was taking the ring away and I said I'm kidding I'm kidding!!! So we get to the bottom and I guess I didn't hear what he said other than will you marry me and I asked him why he asked me on his birthday. He said didn't you hear what I said??? It was pretty funny!!!

Then he surprised me even more. My parents were supposed to be away and FH said we were going to dinner with his parents to celebrate and then he surprised me by having my parents there too!!! It was a wonderful day!

Engaged 9/8/07- It was my birthday and FH wasn't telling me what we were doing for my bday- just that it was something 'nice' since he was away for my 30th last year- he felt he needed to make it up to me. We headed to the car- he opened the door for me and he made like he forgot something- then a limo truck pulled up and he said 'lets take this instead!' So I had a feeling we were either going West or East- duh on the LIE- so when we got on the LIE East I knew it was off to the vinyards we go!! We got to Martha Clara- decided to taste some yummy wines- mind you FH is not a wine drinker and we had 4 flights of wine!! I thought something was 'up' since he kept going to the bathroom lol and he was shaking a bit. When we got back into the limo- he had the driver put in Bon Jovi 'Living in Sin' (long story) and he got down on one knee and said 'I want to marry you!!' I cried and then he asked if I wanted to see the ring

Now we are set to be married 10/19/08- 10 months from tomorrow!! woohoo!!!

Met: October 30th 2003 at a bar fir happy hour. He went with one of the guys that I work with. We started dating right away.
