Propoasl???????

Okay so now we are all getting closer to our wedding day and stressing out like crazy lets just sit back and share our proposals and remember how it all started. Ill go first duh

After a couple weeks together we knew we had met our 'soul mates'. We had been together four months and talked about getting married I figured it was just talk. He knew I wanted my mothers engagement ring and that she was going to give it to my FH. What I didn't know is that he asked her for it and after my cousins wedding he got it.
Apparently at the wedding he asked my dads permission and my dad said yes.

After the wedding we were a little tipsy (not gonna lie) We went out to get a drink but first went down to the Bluff (its in KP and looks over the water)
I laid down on the street and told him to lay down and look at the stars with me he said no get up and we went back n forth a couple times finally I got up and then he got down on his knee and proposed.

I didn't see it coming I was shocked. Well we had some drama since then but we are on track now and 87 days away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

April 29, 2005-- first date
August 15, 2005-- proposal
August 29, 2006-- our little girl was born
March 14, 2008 Wedding day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On 2/13/07...
I was totally b*thing about how the apartment needed to be vacuumed. He just jumped at the chance to do it. I thought...totally weird but as long as I don't have to do it then why stop him.
And there he was mid vacuuming stride he just drops to one knee and proposes (vacuum still running). I of course said yes, but as long as he finished vacuuming!!!
We booked our RH on 2/19/07 and as we were walking our of our contract signing, there was a couple sitting there that wanted the same date. It was fate. We went to our 'dream' place first and it wasn't for us after all. Then we went to ICP and BAM it was perfect.
Now just 234 days away I couldn't be happier. I couldn't be more stressed out and filled will anxiety, but I am truly happy!

12/24/06 - Asked parents for my hand in marriage
2/13/07 - Popped the question

I didnt expect it at all either. It was my birthday August 12, 2004. I came home from the studio and he had cooked lobster and filet mignon for me. I didnt expect it because it was my birthday so I just assumed he made me a birthday dinner. I remember also mentioning how bad I wanted a puppy so I felt like he was gonna get me that. He served us dinner and then led me to the bedroom. I was for sure there was a puppy in there. As soon as he opened the door, all I saw was candles and rose petals everywhere. It was beautiful. I was like 'What is this' And then he got down on his knee and proposed and we both started crying. It was one of the best days of my life.

Same thing happened to me on my second date with FH I new I was going to spend the rest of my life with him. 5mths later here I am on LIW.

He told me to go to Rhode Island w/ him for work and he use to live there so he wanted to show me around. He took me all around showed me where he use to live than we went for a walk by the ocean and also the grounds where he graduated its beautiful! Then he proposed !!!!!! It was perfect!

i met FH in 2004, it was both our first year as teachers, right out of college....we did not work at the same school....anyways, i had a boyfriend at the time from college but things were going downhill and once i met Andrew I just knew it felt right....anyways, it was the day before my birthday-april 27, 2007-i thought he was cheating on me because he was acting soo different for a few weeks...he was being all sneaky (because he had the ring in our apartment). well-he asked my principal if he could do it in front of my class THANK GOD my principal said NO. then, for my bday we were going to see LES MIS on broadway-we had front row so he called the box office to see if he could get them to sing at the end 'will you marry me' THANK GOD they said NO. so, he ended up doing it at our apartment. he tied the ring around our puppy's neck and she came running over to me...it was cute.

My FH and I met in our senior year of high school. We had 1st period gym together and Participation in Government together. We started dating then I went away to the Univ of DE and we split up. We stayed in touch for 7 years while i went to school and stayed in delaware to work on my career. I moved back to NY in November 2004 and we started talking again. We officially started dating again in January of 2005.

It was our 2 year anniversary on January 26, 2007. I had broken my rib the weekend before and we were supposed to spend our anniversary in Delaware celebrating my niece/god daughter's 3rd birthday. So...it was our anniversary and we were stuck in the car driving to Delaware. When we get there, I am sitting on my sisters couch with an ice pack on my rib when my three nieces come over to me and hand me a box and ask me 'if I would please marry uncle steve'.

I couldnt speak, he didnt speak, my sister actually walked us through everything. He got on one knee and FINALLY asked me if I would marry him and I did. Anyone who knows me knows I love my nieces sooo much and it was sooo cute that he thought to incorporate them into the mix.

we had starting talking through sympatia.pl (=to match.com but polish) in mid feb, he kept on asking me for dinner but i was thinking these guys are such losers, bc ive been on 3 dates and they were alll weirdos. So finally one afternoon he texts me if i want to get dinner thats was march 28 & thats when i met the greatest guy in the whole entire world :)
