Wow - just read on the other thread you are a police officer in the South Bronx. That is so awesome. That is one of the toughest jobs around. My Dad was also a police officer. Just wanted to say thanks for protecting NY!!!

It is a job you really have to love....and I still enjoy going to work every single night after 4 1/2 years--which is a plus--it's easy to get burned out real quick.
I also work as a paramedic in Ridgewood, NJ--so that helps keep me a sane--I get to deal with both extremes of America's population. I go from the ghetto to the rich folk--then go home to my normal middle class family--so it's left me a very well-rounded person (at least I like to think so)

Oh no problem. I know from all the stories from my Dad what a life changing job it is. Brian was also an EMT with HempsteadFD. He loved helping people. He actually delivered a baby once. You definitely seem like a well rounded person to me.
