oh I can't resist telling you guys about the problem I had with protein shakes when I first started using them. For some reason, I was getting pains in mylower back so I went to the Dr. eventually and he told me it was my kidneys and asked if I was eating a lot of protein, fish etc. Well, the only protein I was really eating was those shakes! It turns out that protein is hard to fully digest and unless it balanced with water can seriously mess up your system. I started on them again but just a forewarning! Don't slack on the water!

so will I anniegrl, I'm a little person, but I still like to sort of 'watch' what I eat.

You HAVE to replenish those lost fluids or your body will crash.. I drink water allllllllllllll day long.. I don't drink juice or soda.. just water.. and my morning coffee (which is a diuretic, in which case you need to drink more water) esp. when I work out..

Another vote for myoplex. However, I only have the shake if I am on the go and don't have time for a meal. Ideally, it's not good to replace eating properly with shakes or bars.

I only resort to those if I have zero time to make anything

Drinking lots of water with them is very important. I drink about 8-10 glasses a day. Thanks for the reminder about water!

Does the Myoplex shake mix expire? I've had mine for a while.

I took hydrocut for two months and DONT recommend it
i did lose weight but when you take it w/out food
it makes you want to gag
my trainer said eat w/ it even though bottle says different
work out a lot and watching your carb intake should be enough

Just another thought for people who are looking to add some protein. Try picking up some protein powder to mix in with food. You can get it at any Vitamin place and from what I hear it's an easy way to add in protein.
