Does anyone know for Protestants (specifically Episcopal) if Pre Cana costs anything? Where can I get info on it? And do we also do FOCCUS??
Thanks ladies!

Re: Protestant Brides -- Pre Cana??
I am an Episcopalian and was married in an Episcopal church.
Most Episcopal parishes require that you do 'pre-marital counseling' (apparently we don't call it pre-cana) with the priest that will be marrying you. For us it meant meeting one-on-one with our priest and discussing the meaning of Christian/Episcopal marriage, etc. It was actually very casual and not even very religious (our priest talked about committment, consideration, etc. rather than religious beliefs). We weren't asked to promise to raise our children Episcopalian (even though we intend to) or anything about sex (thank GOODNESS since my uncle was our priest!!!! eeeek!).
Anyway, I think every priest/parish is different since there really isn't anything formal. Where are you getting married? FM me if you have any questions! (It's not often you find another Episcopalian!!!!)
ETA: Duh, didn't answer your original question. No, it was free and we didn't do any type of preparation or test. Like I said, it was VERY informal, but I do believe the Episcopal church does require some form of pre-marital counseling in order to be married in the church.
