Hmm....I have been to a few there--my brother went to Brown and my cousins went to Providence College....What area will you be in?

dh and I went to Providence for the Forth- there seemed to be some bars around Brown & RISD- but overall, Providence was a scenic, but not very lively town (especially b/c school is out of session)

You are right, Providence is kind of dead right now...because the schools are not in session...

However, there is a place called the ART BAR which is for ages 25 and over...its a really nice crowd of adults...

There is also the Fish Company, which is Downtown Providence on the Water...it has a beautiful deck outside over the water....

What time of year are you looking to go? I live out here in RI, so any info, I will be glad to help!!

Thanks ladies for the help - I am actually going in the next few weeks. I am just looking for some fun bars - nothing too crazy and no college hangouts! haha Any more suggestions would be greatly appreciated
