P/t Jobs?

I know this has been posted a million times but I need help ASAP!!
I need something fast or this wedding of mine aint gonna happen
I cannot waitress, never have and would fail if I tried!
I dont mind working in a store ( but not much experience) and it would have to be like at least enough money to make teh job even worth it.
Only other thing I wont do is telemarketing because I work in Customer service and am on the phoen all day, I cant take that for a 2nd job.

ANYONE?

I can work weekends and 5:30 on at night..
where should I look?
PLEASE PLEASE HELP!

Re: P/t Jobs?

Try a car dealership or real estate agency...a lot of times they need night-time meet & greet receptionists.

ETA: if you are ok with retail, I hear H&M pays pretty well for their p/t help.

i TRIED TO GET INTO h&m BEFORE MY WEDDING TO HELP WITH EXTRA BILLS and They make you go through this REALLY WIERD test, its like coordination and task management.. I have been working retail for 9 years now, and have NEVER been through such a WIERD thing...

And they took a long time to get back to me.

My suggestion is to hop through the mall if you want a retail job... Bath and Body works is a good paying job.. Maybe look into calling a temp facility like adecco or something like that...

retal is hiing right now for the Xmas rush. Also Sears portrait Studio is hiring big time right now. They actyally sent me a card inviting me to work for the holidays (i used to work there almost 2 years ago). it's hard work, but it's a lot of fun.

If I worked at fortunoff's I wouldn't have any $$$$ to bring home. Thank goodness it's so far away from where I live. I only get there once in awhile!

I used to work there full time as a casshier and at christmas time instead of giving us a bonus in cash we got $250 gift cards to spend in the store. Boy was that fun.

Yeah its a stress/ group management test. They are not the only ones who do it. My sis ter worked there & she though it was weird too, but once she got in (I think they called her back for a 2nd interview the next week) she was ahppy she did it. They treat their employees pretty well according to her & the pay & benefits were quite good.

try calling around to Dr's and Dentist offices....many of them have evening and weekend hours. I did this in college, I worked Monday and Thursday evenings and Saturday 9-1.

Michi - coat check sounds like an AWESOME pt job!!! And aren't you pretty much sitting the whole time too? WONDERFUL! Thanks so much for that suggestion, I've been playing with the idea of working PT as well. Where would you look for this type of job, catering halls and places like that?
