Maybe it's just because I'm getting sick and I'm kinda crabby today but there are A LOT of repetitive posts lately. Probably because all the new brides from New Year's and Christmas are finding their way here (WELCOME!!).
I've noticed that the repeat posts especially dont' get a lot of replies because we JUST had a thread about it.
So if you want info about something, the first thing to do is go to the Search link and do a search. It's located right above the - - - Select A Forum - - - drop down menu.
I've searched for photog quotes, DJ quotes, RH quotes, Tessa, Velvet, CLM, Chateau La Mer, photo booth, etc. and it's really really helpful because you get posts from any board (Vendors Helping Brides, Brides Reviews, 09, Brides Helping Brides, etc.) or you can restrict it to certain boards.
Then if you don't get what you need, you can ask a more specific question and you're more likely to get replies.
Rant over. And I'm sorry for being obnoxious.

I think as we all get closer to our weddings we'll have many repeats, it's like everyone is doing the same thing at once. And you January brides better stick around to help!!

Speaking of searches...can anyone tell me why TUXEDO is an ignored word?!?!?!?!?!?
BTW - it's not this site...when I used Internet Explorer it comes up as an ignored word. When I use Mozilla, I get a search result.
I think we all have our frustrations...sometimes we need to vent because they bother us more days than others. We are all entitled to voice our own opinions...at least until the post gets pulled.

I personally dont mind answering repeat questions... I do agree, that if there was a thread on it, I won't be as detailed the 2nd time around... but Im not going to get angry about girls asking the same questions. Im sure we've all done this at one point or another. I know, I have asked tons of questions and everyone has answered and helped me out so much! Just because we arent newbies anymore, doesnt mean we should forget how it was to know NOTHING about weddings lol I dont even think that sentence made sense, but I dont feel like changing it OH well hahahahaha Anyway- we are 09 brides helping each other.... not 09 brides who are arguing

at this stage of the game, ive seen the same questions about 1000 times... especially gotta love the 'what is twoty' one... i answered it quite a few times in the beginning of my 'life' here, but now i cant be bothered... i know someone else will explain so i leave it to them... and thats what i do with alot of questions... i dont even open most posts anymore..

The other problem is that maybe the question you are referring to was asked on another board, like 2010 and not on 2009, not everyone checks all the boards... I would say, if you don't feel like answering then don't worry about it, and if others do then great, no worries, we're all here to help one another

Maybe do a search or check back a few pages so you can get an answer to your question that was asked a week ago.
I think your best bet is to not answer posts you've seen before if it bugs you.. I remember when I first came on LIW I posted a ton of questions that I'm sure were asked a gazillion times and I didn't know till I came more familiar with the boards.. and it was sooo incredible how many girls reached out and answered my questions anyway!! It's just the way the boards go and we all do what we can to help one another which is great
