Take a deep breath and relax, if they go out a week later it won't be the worst thing. . . believe me people still wont send the response cards back in time. stamping and stuffing and adding the rhinestone goes pretty quickly - you will get it done.

But it is totally unacceptable that she has not contacted you

She's not always there. I think she works from home a lot too and I have no idea where that is... If I don't hear back from her today I am definitely going to try going there.

How do you run a friggin business this way??????

That stinks, but I'm sure things will work out. I know you're on a schedule, but as your wedding is in October pushing back your mailing date a few days wouldn't be horrible, would it?

No... it is just that all of FH's guests (about half of our list) are all OOT and we wanted to give them more time to make arrangements, books flights etc. If everyone was local I wouldn't be sending them out until August 2nd.

I'm guessing she took time for the holiday weekend, but she definitely should have let you know or taken care of your order before...Did you at least send a STD? Maybe you could call or email a couple of them to 'remind them' and spread the word. I'd rather you have the invites go out as your dream invites and you not regret not 'finishing' them later.

Ok. I'm getting married on the exact same date as you, and my FH is from Chicago.. which means that half of our guests are also from OOT. Why are you stressing this so much? It's only beginning of July. It's not a big deal if you send them out in a week.. I wasn't planning to send mine out until last week of July. Did you send STD's to your OOT guests?

Also, I know that sometimes she doesn't respond right away, but she's usually really good with everything, I have zero complaints about her.. she's been great so far with everything. I'm sorry you're stressing so much, but you really shouldn't worry at all.

I am sorry this is causing you so much stress. Honestly I wouldn't worry just yet. It was a holiday weekend and you have time. I would e-mail her again and if she doesn't respond I would try to go and see her.

And I'm stressing because FH's family is notoriously difficult and also when someone promises something by an agreed upon date but then chooses not to respond to emails or provide actual answers it is infuriating, If she couldn't get them to me by this date she should have said something when I placed my order instead of just yessing me to death.

Have you been on her blog? She usually posts step by step instructions on what's going on with your order.

Also, what date did she put down on your contract? My contract date said July 10-20.

Ugh. I'm sorry! I'm going through something similar with a Etsy seller.
