Where is everyone staying or have stayed.... We need honeymoon helped because our plans fell through!!!

Riu Palace Punta Cana but we didn't really like it... Then again, it wasn't our honeymoon.... No offense to anyone who has stayed there or is going there... just my opinion

We stayed at the Iberostar resort, this past April. I can NOT say a bad thing about it. It was GORGEOUS!!! Not for our honeymoon, but regardless it was GORGEOUS! I think MOST resorts down there are the same? With a few differences... If you are going ALLL out, go to Dreams!! But, either way, it's a GORGEOUS vacation, beautiful beaches, lots to do. The people are friendly and you should have a great time =) GOOD LUCK!

I've been there twice in the past 2 years. Last year, my fiance and I stayed at Dreams. ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS. It was brand new and we got a pretty good deal. Food is great, people are extremely friendly, and the place is just beautiful. We just came back last week from the Majestic Elegance. It's also new (october of last year) and we stayed here because we got a good deal. We were in a club called 'the elegance club' which means you get your own private beach,pool.and restaurant spaces. The room was gorgeous but there were a few things that completely turned me off. FM me if you want more details but I love punta cana!!!!!!!!!!!

I stayed at Occidental. Dont stay there for your HM there (Its really nice but not for a HM). Good luck! Punta cana is gorgeous!!

When I was looking into Punta Cana I heard from a bunch of people that the Paradisus Palma Real was great as long as you get the Royal Service.

Sol Melia, beautiful and all inclusive . If you go there you have to do the royal service. So worth it. Huge place. We booked thru liberty travel for our engagement celebration. The paradius was next door and that was even more beautiful

Melia Caribe Tropical - it was beautiful.. top notch!! a little too big but really nice.... we had a room near the beach and pool but had to take a shuttle bus to the restaurants and main lobby....

we have an awesome travel agent FM if you need her info... shes really great!

We stayed at the Paradisius Palma Real in Nov 2007 and it was amazing. Sooooo beautiful. It was off season, so we did not get the Royal Service and were fine. In fact they upgraded us to a huge ocean view suite, because the resort was only 40% full.

2 of our friends also went off of our reco, and loved it as well.

ive stayed at the Caribe Club Princess (very nice and all inclusive) and the Sunscape Punta Cana (i think this may now be the dreams)

And i had a great time at both - i was there with friends and not for HM though.

The food was amazing at both places

Dreams Punta Cana.
The grounds are gorgeous, huge pool. There's a private beach with beach beds and the entertainment staff was good.
The food was just 'ok,' best bets are the mexican restaurant & the buffet. There were like 8 buildings, and the one I stayed in had all suites, and ours had a hot tub on the balcony!!!

Majestic Colonial in Punta Cana, First time ever in DR and it was the most relaxing trip we have ever been on. (beat out Aruba and the Bahamas). The food was okay, nothing spectacular but i'm very picky.... We also happened to get engaged there (7/27/08)

We stayed @ an iberostar, it was great!! they have a new resort there its the Iberostar Grand Hotel Bávaro. We stayed at an Iberostar Grand in Jamaica for our honeymoon, there wasn't a thing i could complain about!! As far as all inclusives go, Iberostar is our favorite!!

ETA: I believe the Grand Hotels are adults only.

def excellence punta cana all the way!!!! Its adults only which was the best thing!!:) the service was great and the food was very good!!! WE LOOOVED IT!!> I got engaged there too so I am biased. :)
