I stayed at the Paridisus Palma Real and it was AWESOME! I've also stayed at the Melia Caribe Tropical and the Palace. Both nice with good service but nothing compared to the Palma Real!

Melia Caribe Tropical - it was beautiful.. top notch!! a little too big but really nice.... we had a room near the beach and pool but had to take a shuttle bus to the restaurants and main lobby....

we have an awesome travel agent FM if you need her info... shes really great!

i agree that this is a great place to stay,. next time we go, we are definatly going there. we did our honeymoon at Majestic Elegance, and it was gorgeous, but had some issues.

Excellence Punta Cana was great! FH and I went there last year for a week and had such a good time!!

We stayed @ an iberostar, it was great!! they have a new resort there its the Iberostar Grand Hotel Bávaro. We stayed at an Iberostar Grand in Jamaica for our honeymoon, there wasn't a thing i could complain about!! As far as all inclusives go, Iberostar is our favorite!!

ETA: I believe the Grand Hotels are adults only.

I agree with that about the Iberostar, i went to the Iberostar Grand in Jamaica in April and it was soooo nice, everything was wonderful.

As for PC, I would say try Iberostar or the Majestic Colonial. Excellence is a beautiful resort, but take into account it is the farthest from the airport, and the beach and water is different then the other hotels on the main strip in PC.
