Punta Cana??

Hello Ladies,

has anyone traveled to Punta Cana before? Can you tell me where you stayed? If you would recommend it? And did you feel safe if you left the resort? I want to do an excursion, possibly a snorkeling one so if you have any recommendations please let me know. We are thinking of going her for our honeymoon. We were originally going to do Sandals Grande St. Lucian but it is out of our budget.

I stayed at one of the Barcelos ..it is an all inclusive place..i didn;t leave the resort though..it was very nice one of the better all inclusives..champagne available all day and wonderful spa as well as helpful staff and you can even have lobster on the beach just th two of you for dinner!

THIS 100%!!!! That recommendation came from me. Excellence is the best resort in Punta Cana hands down! BEST food, service, and relaxation. We went through mey travel agent at liberty travel and it was a breeze. It's an all inclusive resort and has everything you need. We are DYING to go back!!! Fm me for more details!!

definetly recommend it is beautiful, so far the best beaches i've ever seen.

I know ur asking someone else this but i figured id chime in. The resort isn't huge which is nice because everything is in walking distance. The beach isn't that terquiose blue but the water ia clear. For excursions I think we did mini boats with snorkeling and something else but I can't remember. We were mainly at the hotel the whole time enjoying the beach and the pool. If you go, request a swim up room. We were lucky enough to have our swim up legit 10 feet away from
The only pool bar on the resort. It was awesome!

The resort was big and the beach was GORGEOUS! Of course we were there in mid September so the surf was really rough. But you could go in 'at your own risk' as they put it. We went in and it was still amazing. Have you checked out their website? https://www.excellence-resorts.com/ We didn't do any excursions because there weren't any that we liked everything about or we didn't want to travel as far as needed for some of the excursions that we did think sounded fun. Honestly, we had an amazing time just hanging around the pool and the beach all day. We met a bunch of people there that we hung out with at times during the trip. I would definitely love to go back there but maybe not during hurricane season so we can enjoy the beach more.

I can FM you some pics from our honeymoon if you want to see some of the views. We had a room with the swim up pool but it also had an ocean view. It was actually a great room.
