One thing to consider is that September is hurricane season and Aruba is not in the hurricane belt.....

Definitely Aruba...no doubt! September is such a great time to go there! We went this past September and will be there again this coming September!

i say punta cana just because im half dominican and LOVE the dominican republic!!! i have pics in my album of my trip to PC this past June

but i do have to say that September is hurricane season and PC gets hits with them, so on that note, i say Aruba

I would definitely say Aruba because the DR will be in hurricane season.

I went to Punta Cana in September for my HM. LOOOOOVED it!!! Pics in my album. We stayed at Excellence.

Ditto - the last thing you need to worry about is having a hurricane hit the place you are going on your honeymoon.

I would go with Aruba hands down. I am not a fan of the DR at all....went twice and FH went twice and neither of us had a good experience any of the times we went.

i have been to both punta cana and aruba and they are both amazing. since youre going in september you might not want to risk the weather and go to aruba.. but if thats not something youre concerned with then go to punta cana! they have some beautiful hotels, and there is always something to do! i highly recommend punta cana!
