I went to Secrets for my HM 3 wks ago. We loved it! I loved the Paella party and the paella!

Alison, those are awsome!!! I can't believe the snorkeling shots,they are beautiful!!

the resort looks a LOT like the one we went to. I guess they make them all very similar!

So, how was it, did you have a good time? did you have the right cloths with you? was the food good?

that paella looked mighty appetizing!

Actually, not ALL of the food was good, but we did have some good food. The DRINKS on the other hand...YUMMM! I am missing the Coco Locos already!!

Kathy, I actually have another shot of the peacock with all his plumage out...but it's on another roll of film I haven't gotten developed yet. The funniest part was that the bird kept seeing its reflection in the mirrors on the walls and trying to attack because it thought there was another bird there invading its territory!! Every so often, everyone in the lobby would hear a really loud SQUAWK as the darn thing threw itself headfirst into the mirrors!!

I don't mind...I think it was around $2600 total for the two of us for 5 nights, 6 days, including RT airfare and transfers. And it's all inclusive. FM me if you need more info.

Yes, we liked it a lot. It depends on what you are looking for I suppose. But if you want to lie on the beach and by a beautiful pool and just RELAX, this is the place!

If you are into stuff like scuba, I'd suggest going somewhere else where the water is calmer. The water here was really rough...we got a little seasick snorkeling! Also, there is not a ton to do outside the resort. We were perfectly content not going anywhere, though. FM me if you have any specific questions.
