We're getting a female puppy in about 2 weeks and we cant agree on a name. We want something army-related (or patriotic) but everything sounds like a boys name.
I like America DH likes Trooper (but I think thats a boys name)
Any suggestions??? Which do you like, if either, or do you have a better one??

OOOO you can have so much fun with these!!! See if any of these grab ya... they're people names but have a connection to something patriotic!!
BETSY (like 'Ross') AMBER (waves of grain) ELEANOR (or Ellie) as in Roosevelt! DOLLY (Madison) or even MADDY (Madison) LIBBY could be short for LIBERTY!! GRACIE (god shed his GRACE on thee!)

LOL these are all such cute ideas. I'm not sure if DH would go for many of them (as you can see by his choice....he's SO into the army names) but I like them! He also liked Ranger (another BOY name!!!!) I told him we should just get a boy dog so he can pick a boy name
Keep those suggestions coming ladies!!!!!

Or for LIBERTY BELL!!! I love that one!!! Her official name could be LIBERTY BELLE XXXX and you could call her Libby Belle, how CUTE is THAT???
Also I really like SCOUT too, isn't one of Demi moore's kids called that??? Its patriotic without being too butchy!!!!

How about simply 'Sam'? In reference to Uncle Sam. It could work for a female too!

I just wanted to tell you, I called DH and he was HYSTERICAL over this. He wants to name the dog Emory since it sounds like MRE and call it Emmy for short.
He also loved Liberty, so right now its between Emory and Liberty.
