Puppy -updated with pic

FH came home from work with a puppy in tow! He brought home the most adorable pit bull puppy in hopes that I would agree to keep it.

I feel so bad b/c he and the kids love it...but I dont want a dog...nonetheless one that will grow to be 100 pounds!

Just had to share...b/c I feel so bad...but I dont want it.

awwww, that was cute of him, kinda sux though that you dont want a dog lollll, maybe it could stay outside for the most part? (even though it would break my heart lol

I wouldnt have the heart to leave it outside. If he brought home a yorkie or a cocker spaniel...i'd probably suck it up and keep it. But I'm not into bigdogs. They are all going to hate me when it has to go...

I have a pit bull and she is only 45-50 pounds. She is way smaller then my dalmation. She is also the sweetest most loving dog ever.

my mom has a pit bull and she is about 40pounds
she is such a great dog!!!

fh wants nothing to do with big dogs
freakin guy is 6'3 and 240 and all he wants are shihtzus. go figure

pit bulls are probably the sweetest dogs and they arent that big of a dog.

Pit's are great family pets. They really aren't big dogs they are more in the medium range. Good luck with the situation, it is a tough one.

awww they are sooo cute!!! i would suggest a play date with my dog.. but theodore is a female organ thats scared of everything

It went back to the owner...until they find someone to buy it. If anyone knows anyone that wants one, let me know. I'd feel so much better knowing it went to a good home

That's why there are so many dogs in pounds. People are just to selfish too love a bigger dog.

What beautiful eyes. I totally know how you feel having to give back the dog. I am soo afraid of dogs and FH says when we buy a house he wants a great dane. Not sure who he plans on living with after the wedding cuz that is not happening.

I'm not being selfish. Selfish would be keeping a dog that I dont have the time for right now. If I get a dog, I want to raise it right, and I just dont have it in me at this time.
