I'm not being selfish. Selfish would be keeping a dog that I dont have the time for right now. If I get a dog, I want to raise it right, and I just dont have it in me at this time.

I wouldnt have the heart to leave it outside. If he brought home a yorkie or a cocker spaniel...i'd probably suck it up and keep it. But I'm not into bigdogs. They are all going to hate me when it has to go...

I know what I wrote! regardless, my original post clearly mentioned that I dont want a dog at all!!! And I dont think having a preference for smaller dogs makes me selfish...anymore than I have a preference for taller men. Does it make me selfish b/c I dont like short guys???

Again, everyone's personal situations are different.
1. If you live in a smaller place your going to have a small dog and not want a big dog
2. if you have children in the home a smaller dog might be more ideal for that particular family, not a big dog.

its not like she wanted a puppy.....he just brought it home so i don't know why some people are judging......bottom line is the puppy is still a puppy and will get a home regardless......its not like she toook the puppy in.....waited for it to get big and then decided she didn't want it........just drop it
