Is anyone else doing purple for their bridesmaids? I want to do a darker shade for my MOH and a lighter shade for the BP, but I cannot find too many designers who do both. We are also trying to go with a lighter material like chiffon or charmeuse which is making things more difficult. Any suggestions?
If you cant find the different shades what about doing a sash for the MOH or the BMs in lilac?

I'm having a similar problem. A lot of the purples I've seen are more red than plum, which is what I'm really looking for. Some of the good ones I've seen are from Siri and Watters. Give them a look,. hopefully you'll have some luck! And if you find other companies with good purples, let me know!
Can I just say how much I love the green and purple together, that was my first color combo that I wanted!!!

I was thinking of doing this too. I was also thinking of putting my MOH in maybe a sage or champagne color and the bridesmaids in lavendar/lilac or whatever.

Jim Hjelm has a whole line of chiffon dresses, and they have several shades of purple, they have Raisen, Tranquil, Eggplant, Lilac, Frosted Violet.
