purple cocktail??

i have a plum/fuschia color scheme and have been trying to find a purple cocktail for our 'signature drink'.

Anyone know any mixes???

i think sangria is kind of purple...but not really a cocktail drink.

well lets see red and blue make purple soooo
how about hypnotic mixed with grenadine or cranberry---i don't know how it will taste though!!!

on drinkmixers.com they have two different grape flavored drinks and i would assume that they would turn out to be purple based on the ingredients.

1. Grapeschlager recipe

1 part Goldschlager® cinnamon schnapps
3 parts grape soda

Pour goldschlager over ice, then add the grape soda. Stir slightly, and enjoy.

2. Grapple recipe

1 cup grape juice
1 cup apple cider
1 tsp lemon juice
1/4 tsp cinnamon

Place all ingredients into a blender jar. Cover, and whiz on medium speed until well blended. Pour into a collins glass, and serve.

Ingredients: 2 oz. vodka
3/4 glass orange juice
fill blackberry liqueur

Directions: Mix the Vodka and the Orange juice together, add the Blackcurrant shnapps, add ice!

2. Purple Devil
Ingredients: 1 part triple sec
1 part Cointreau®
1 part Amaretto
fill cranberry juice
1 Splash 7-UP

Directions: Shake alcohol with ice. Strain and pour over ice in a tall glass. Add cranberry juice to fill most of the way. Add a splash of 7-up if you want it fizzy!

3. Purple Haze #1
Ingredients: 1/2 oz. tequila
1/2 oz. white rum
1/2 oz. vodka
1/2 oz. gin
1/2 oz. Chambord® raspberry liqueur
1 oz. sour mix

Directions: Fill 12 oz glass with ice. Add alcohol and sour. Top off with 7 up.

4. Purple Alaskin
0.75 oz. Amaretto
0.75 oz. Jack Daniel's®
0.75 oz. Orange Juice
0.75 oz. Southern Comfort®
0.75 oz. Chambord

Mix all ingredients together in a shaker with ice and a bit of grenadine. Strain into a glass (some people enjoy it over ice but it should still be mixed in a shaker)

5. Purple Crayon
3/4 oz. Chambord
1 oz. Vodka
fill Pineapple Juice

Pour Chambord and Vodka over ice. Fill to top with pineapple juice. Garnish with purple grape and pineapple slice.

6. Purple Heart
1 shot Tropical Schnapps
1 shot Tropical Schnapps

Pour both shots into same glass, add ice if want chilled, stir, and drink.

7. Purple Love
1 oz. Blue Curacao
1 oz. Whipped Cream
1/2 oz. Chambord
1/2 oz. Bacardi Light Rum®
1/2 oz. Absolut Vodka®
1/2 oz. Triple Sec
2 oz. Sprite®
2 dashes Grenadine

Combine the first 9 ingredient into a cocktail shaker. Shake well for about 25 seconds. Strain the cocktail into a high-ball glass. The piece of melted chocolate is for garnish purposes. -- How to use the melted chocolate: First spread the melted chocolate evenly over a plastic board and leave it to cool and harden.Using a sharp knife, draw the blade across the chocolate to create curls. Add the curls to the top of the cocktail and serve.

8. Purple Stealth
1/3 Absolut Kurant®
2/3 Grape Soda

Pour vodka in large soft drink tumbler first. Tastes more like carbonated Ribena than grape soda. Very powerful!

looks like my fiance and i have a lot of drinking to do....thanks it was very thoughtful of you to find so many!!

My FH and I went to Dave & Busters last night for Happy Hour to try to find our sig. drink. They had a drink called the Purple People Eater. I didn't try it so I don't know how it tastes. The bartender was awesome and gave us the recipe to the drinks we were interested in when we told him what it was for.
