Purple in June?

My original wedding date was Decemberr and i was going to do plum or jewel tone purple gowns. Now we're in June and I can't use those colors but I am really attached to Purple. What shades of purple can be used in June? Please show suggestions if you have any,

Purple is fine in June...I had it for my wedding and paired it with pink roses and hot pink status for flowers (2nd wedding in 1997). It looked very pretty.
