Matthew has had quite a horrible week, as I posted 2 days ago. He nows cries much more... he had been getting better and is worse again. He doesn't want to be put down after he eats. Some people suggested he is just tired.... I just don't know anymore. BUT we did notice last week that his bellybutton has a tinge to it, sort of purple/brown. Not horrible, but noticeable. Is this normal? Could this be a problem? Any ideas? Thanks.

I dont think Emmas ever changed color once her stump fell off. Maybe he has an umbilical hernia, you should probably have him checked out by a doc. If its hurting him he may have his intestine caught. (I had one in 2001 I needed repaired)

maybe what kp said is right and thats why he is being a bit fussy...never hurts to check with the dr.
