I feel like I should have asked this a long time ago but wanted to hold off. My husband has been unemployed for almost an entire year and is having no luck in finding a new job. He's a web developer/graphic designer.
Anyone know of any job openings? He's tried all the traditional routes-headhunters, temp agencies, etc. but the job market seems to be saturated!

man can I feel for you....its one of the reasons we left NY DH was unemployed for a good part of a year...

he has a lot of computer connections in NY...but none really for graphics...he is a hardward/systems guy

I will FM you the name of the company that he was laid off from (since they are in the process of rebuilding) Its a website...so there are graphic workers...just don't know if they need...

I have nothing worthwhile to offer you except some hugs! . I am in the same situation. After losing my job due to illness I am now searching and boy the job market is rough. I have had a few interviews but nothing has worked out so I know just how your hubby feels. I will send him some job dust ****~~~~~****job job job job job job job jobjob****~~~~~*****.

I just e-mailed an acquaintence. She does the same thing your DH does. If she knows of anything she'll let me know.

Wow! Thank you all for your support!! Not to get too mushy here or anything cheesy but the support, nice words, some of you contacting your friends/family/etc. has really touched me!
I'm so appreciative of all of this and I know DH is too!!
