putting things into perspective and prayers please
Wow, not sure what is going on, but it seems out of place. we get so focused on wedding planning and this board, and then reality strikes
Ladies and gentlemen, my mother is in the hospital, has been for the past week. She passed out coming out of a restaurant on valentines day, and was taken in for observation and released.
She gets home, and she cannot move her right leg.
Back to the hospital.
Her Pulse was over 190, so they start giving her medication to reduce it, and start discussing a pace maker. THen it was the medication is helping, no pacemaker but 3 times a week dialysis. So they get that straightened out, and she goes to stand up and feels everything in her leg move.
What they realized this friday (almost a week later) is the Ball of her hip is broken, and she either needed a hip replacement or she would never walk again. Now my mother is not in the best of health, so they told her it was likely they would not be able to operate.
Fast forward to today, they are now saying they can operate as early as Thursday of this week into next week, so if I disappear for a bit, that is because I am flying to Florida to be there, because she nearly didnt survive the last surgery she had.
Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers, and Please, dont get so caught up in the drama of everything that we start to lose track of reality until it hits us in the face.
