PWP Tea Party

Fox Hollow ladies.......any of you attend the Tea Party by Perfect Wedding Planner? We booked last week and I received a call to set an appointment for the tea party.
What exactly is this and Is it worth attending? I live in Brooklyn so I don't want to make the drive if its not worthwhile.

TIA

Re: PWP Tea Party

I'm going to the one on Wed April 20th. This is their explaintion of what it is:

The event is to go over a timeline of events leading up to your upcoming wedding. We speak about PWP and what we can do for you and your upcoming wedding. We also speak about all our vendors. After the event planner is finished speaking (hour and half) then you enter a different room where you will get a chance to meet with some of our vendors.

They also have the Tea party's at Chateau Briand in Carle Place, maybe that one would be easier for you to get to. I personally think it's worth checking out.

PS If you want to bring more than 1 person you can... you just have to pay for them ( $50pp plus tax). I'm bringing my Mom & MOH (sister)

Hope this helps

I went to one! I enjoyed it. Got a lot of info from them. They were very helpful. They handed out their preferred vendors. I have an issue with a particular DJ that was on their list. FM me and I'll give you the low down!
At the end there is a raffle. Those are always fun!

It was good, but I'm not sure it was worth it if I had to drive an hour. But at least you can see your RH again.

I went last year... they basically are hawking there wedding planning/ day of coordinator service. They did walk though what paperwork vendors need... and had a mini showcase of their preferred vendors at the end.

I came in from NYC and to me it was a waste of time... wasn't worth the trip!

If your coming from Brooklyn I would say no. They talk alot of their coordinator services and the list of the prefered vendors.

I didn't go. I'm not using any of their vendors. All of them seem to be over priced, so i got others. So it would have been a waste for me.

I went and loved it

I really think it helped me understand the wedding planning process better

I did not use many of their vendors but it was still a fun event to attend

You are getting married soak up everything that is for you [and free of course]

I went and I loved it and it convinced my mom I needed a DOC. I of course went with a better and more cost effective DOC.

I'm a Chateau Briand bride and I went to one. its like an information session and it was pretty helpful. I won a$600 off a photographer at the end of the night!

I would just go to Barnes and Noble and get the Bridal Bargains book. It has everything you need to know in there and its has any information they can ever tell you about saving money or how to plan a wedding.
