Do you wear your engagement ring at the ceremony on your left finger, or do you wear it on the right and place it on the left again after it concludes? I was thinking about this and is has been bothering me!

I think that you wear it on the right to the ceremony and then move it over to the left after you are married.

This is what I am doing...some people choose to wear their wedding ring in front of their e-ring...so I think it is all preference

Re: Q about ceremony
I have a distinct problem with that....I broke my ring finger on my right hand a few years ago (in a freak skiing accident) and cannot fit my ring on it it doesn't look strange to the naked eye, but my knuckle is misshapen because of it! BUT I don't want anything but my wedding band on my ring finger the day of the wedding....
FH says maybe I could wear it on my left pinky....I don't know what to do.

Re: Q about ceremony
For the ceremony, you wear your e-ring on your right hand, then after the ceremony, switch it over to your left hand. It's suppose to be your wedding band first, then your e-ring because your wedding band should be the one closest to your heart.....that's what i heard anyway!!

Re: Q about ceremony
I heard you're supposed to wear it on your right hand for the ceremony and then move it back afterwards. Cause then it's all about your wedding band, not your E-ring as much anymore.
