Q for chocolate brown BM dresses

Hi! still deciding on flowers, and need to make a decision:

chocolate brown dresses: what color/kinds of flowers? Also...what about your bridal bouquet? I have been told that brides usually have very light colors...just curious what everyone picked. Thanks in advance!

You can do pinks or do autumn colors like red, yellow and oranges. They both will look great.

I'm going to have the girls do reds, yellows, oranges, greens etc.

Mine will most likely be all ivory. I havent decided yet

thanks for the reply...i went to 2 different places, and they both had great ideas...just totally different. the woman today suggested keeping the bouqets with only one color...coral roses with yellow on the inside.

the other woman suggested all different colors. the thing is each girl has a different dress, so she said the flowers should be all the same...i picked my dress faster than I this!!!

She also suggested that my bouqet be all white...i think that's how a lot of people do it...just felt like I want dark flowers...but i'm not sure...am I doing this late????

BM BoK - 3 Large Sunflowers
Bride BoK - White/Mango Mini Callalilies

I think any fall-colored flowers would look pretty though!!! HTH!

I'm doing a mix of autumn colors for both myself and my BMs. I tend to like different colors, so that's why I decided to do a mix. It really comes down to personal preference I think.

Below is a pic that I found on LIWeddings that I showed to my florist for the bouquets I wanted:

Personally I don't like white flowers for brides. I feel that it blends too much with the dress.

I did circus roses, which are orangy red with yellow. My sis wore mocha brown and carried leonidis roses, which are dusty mauve in color.
Both bo-ks had red hypericum berries and seeded eucalyptus for color variations.

i thought that the white would blend with the dress, too.

i also love hypernicum berries. i just think it's so hard to choose, because i know nothing about flowers!

I agree 100%. I am doing callas that are orangey-red for my bouquet, and my sister, my only BM, will have circus roses and some maroon callas.

My girls are in chocolate brown and we are doing different shades of pink and ivory for our flowers.....pink is the color of the sashes on the dress so it works.

You can use any rich fall colors or any soft color like pink.

You definitely don't have to do an all white bo-k for yourself. I'm not, mine is going to be all bright pink roses, they are my favorite. Go with what you like.
And for the BM's, with brown dresses, you can def. go with whatever color you want. Fall colors or pinks would look good.

I am definitely not doing an all-white bouquet for myself! Like the others above, I agree that it blends too much with my dress.

My girls are wearing truffle colored dresses and we are doing fall-colored flowers: the oranges, yellows and reds mostly. I am not sure if I want to do calla lillies or gerber daisies or a mix of both (both are my fave flowers). I have also seen a few pics where the bride carries pastel versions of the fall colors, which looks pretty, too.

No you are not doing this late. I haven't picked a florist or flowers yet and I am two weeks before you.

I haven't decided but I personally like the dark purple calla Lilly for myself and pale pink/ivory roses for the girls. But still deciding.

i am doing chocolate brown dresses and doing oranges, reds and dark purples. My best friend did orange and purple calalillies and they were sooo pretty. You can also do the pink and brown thing.

former november bride with chocolate brown BM dresses here!

allllll my flowers were ivory.

my bouquet was ivory (eskimo) roses

my bms had hydrangeas, and my moh had a mix of roses & hydrangeas (hard to tell in the pics)

lots and lots of pics in my review!!
