I'm debating whether to order invitations or DIY them. I know DIY is a lot of work but I'm willing to put in the time if it will save me a lot of money. My question is, for those of you who have done DIY invites, does it work out to be substantially less money than ordering, if you include the cost of ink, scrapbooking supplies, etc?

It also depends on the invites you are doing.
Mine are going to break even however Im diying them because im doing the rsvp by email and do not need the response cards and I would like a map so its kindof a trade off.
However, its pretty cool the feeling you get thinking I made these, I really do Rock! haha
