How long did it take for it to come in from the time that you ordered? I see that a lot of you ladies got your dresses already.
I ordered mine in June and was told 6-9 months.

Re: Q? For Those of You That Your Gowns Are In..
I think it really depends on the designer & store you buy from... They all can have a different time frame. I was looking at a Melissa Sweet dress at Pricilla of Boston and she said it would take about 2 months to come in...

Mine took 9 months. We ordered it in October. I was getting nervous at first, but never the less, I worried for no reason. I'm going in a few weeks to try the whole shabang on with my girls. Can't wait!!

When I was just trying the dress on they said it would take about 6-9 months to come in.
When I actually ordered it they said '4-5 months but probably sooner than that'
It ended up coming in a little over 3 months

Re: Q? For Those of You That Your Gowns Are In..
I ordered mine at the end of May and it came in at the end of July.. that was 2 months.. I went to the store, tried it on, and sent it back to the manufacturer so that they can make me a brand new one that will come in January.. I refused to have an ivory dress locked up in storage for the next 8 months.. I'd rather it come in, in January and start doing my fittings in Feb/March.. I just didn't want to risk the dress yellowing.. They were really accomdating at the salon. Plus I am having buttons added to the back of the dress.

Mine took less than a month even though they said it would take about 3 or 4.

I thought something similar-- I'm like, what in the world is taking so long?! But since I was in no rush they didn't put it on any sort of rush order and I got it from a Wholesaler so I could get it hundreds of dollars less and I guess that adds time to it. She said they normally take 10-12 months so mine was longer b/c of that. Luckily, I had plenty of time so I didn't have to pay extra for rushing it AND I was able to get it REAL cheap!!

They told me 10 months, but when I went on the designer's website it said, 12-16 weeks. We will see.

Re: Q? For Those of You That Your Gowns Are In..
I ordered my dress in January from Macy's Manhasset. I actually called them in April to find out the status and all (I really had no idea and just wanted some reassurance). A lady answered the phone and kind of replied synically at my question. She said 'Honey, your wedding isn't till 9/07, you won't be called until Jan - you have so much time.' I felt pretty stupid when I got off the phone (I had no idea) Anyone else have this experience?
