so what i want to know is why did you pick it? did you pick it for the details? did you pick it because it was a ballgown, mermaid, etc or did you pick because it made your body look great?
*the first freakin gown i picked was because of the details. i fell in love with it in a magazine bought it online for $100. when i tried it on i was happy....fast foward a year after i bought. the girls started trying on bm gowns and i started to get jealous of how the gowns were fitting them. thats when i knew i needed something else.
then i started to look at gowns that fh liked. none of them looked good on me. fsil picked a mermaid./trumpet gown which looked like crap on the hanger. when i put it on i couldnt believe how it made me look. it made me look taller and thinner. i tried on a few more to make sure that the gown was the one. but nooooo then i discovered ruching!! i was getting so pissed that i loved two gowns but for different reasons. why couldnt i find everything in one?!?!?!?
so i said fcuk it im going to buy the one i think looks best. so we went to a store that had it at the best price my sis/moh told me why dont you try on a few more just in case. man am i glad i did!!! i found a trumpet with ruching and the details i wanted!!!
in the end i only tried on about 20 gowns but man did it feel like 9873498275089245!!!
did i ask more than one question

It was white (FH wanted that) with red trim (I wanted that) and it was FFFF RRRRRR EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.

I picked mine because it was the first one that I didn't have anything 'bad' to say about it. It has bling all over and hugged my body in all the right places lol

I picked it because it was the only dress (after like....at least 60 different ones ) that really made me feel something....my dress is unique, like nothing I've ever seen and I love how it is all hand beaded. It looks like something I could have picked up in a consignment shop...antique-y but at the same time it has some modern touches.

The main reason I picked my gown was because it instantly made me look thinner. I am a plus-sized bride (aka not a size 6/8/10) so I was limited in choices of gowns. I didn't want a strapless gown, and I didn't want one that didn't billow out all the way in the middle or bottom. I picked one that has short lace sleeves and a high back. It also instantly slims me in the waist-line and also makes me look bigger chested..

I picked it for many reasons:
1. It's light as a feather. Conversely some of the dresses I tried on could stand on their own.
2. I fell in love with the lace. The train absolutely takes my breath away.
3. I love the swarovski crystal details around the bust. It's so pretty and makes the ladies look purdy good, too!
4. Lastly, it's the first dress I tried on where I felt like a bride rather than a chick in a white dress.

I picked it because it was different, simple, yet elegant, which was what I wanted..I also love the flower detailing, I love flowers! Also, I loved how it fit me. It's so flattering on me and after trying on about 20 other dresses, I just knew it was the one for me
