i kid i kid.............
lately i see us venting and complaing about money it seems all we do is safe for our special day. which brings me to the qotd..........
is there anything that you refuse to give up or feel you need to do to keep your sanity?
i decided that we need our friday night happy hour!!! i dont care where it is!! it could be mulcahys, chilis, chi, as long as we can have a couple of cocktails and some apps for no more than $30. i know this makes fh very happy!! he works so much and so hard. he deserves that one night out.

Us too. But we usually do it once a month. We'll go out for dinner then maybe go bowling or to play pool or to a movie.

i also refused to give up our trips..although we didnt go on quite as many as we normally do

I refuse giving up date nights. Both FH and I work so much that by the time we see each other in the evening we're exhausted!

We really havent given up much. Our normal day to day hasnt changed. The only change we have made is not taking vacations b/c any big lump sums of money go to the wedding.

FH and I are not big spenders....we are both just being much more careful with what we spend. We are buying the necessities and taking care of things...we are trying to save as much as possible but not deny ourselves!

for myself, I will NOT give up getting a manicure every saturday. I work really hard all week and feel that I can treat myself for $6.....and that 3 minute shoulder massage they give me while I dry is worth it also!!!! All I do is save save save but I don't think the $6 will kill me!
For me and FH, we still go out to dinner once a week....we don't live together and we don't see each other every day so we feel that we deserve to atleast treat ourselves to dinner (usually fri or sat).....doesn't have to be expensive because we do wind up at Chilis, Circles in Brooklyn, Pizzeria, etc....some nights we kind of go a little more out than others but we def don't want to give up that once a week night out!!!
Yes!!! I won't give up my $6 manicure every Friday after work and a couple of minutes massage! It totally de-stresses me and I have nice nails for the weekend!!!!
