Good morning or night lol
Thought I would get a jump start or I might forget in the AM lol

Today's topic 'The rise of the groomzilla's'
Now, I'm a little bit older, I'm 37. When I was growing up most men took a backseat and all they asked 'when do I pick up my tux?'
The newer generation is much more involved. My FH for one, he researching weddings, schedules the appointments and has an opinions on just about everything (except flowers oddly).
And alas, that's when my groomzilla was born.
Few months ago, I glance over the computer screen and guess who is trolling LIWeddings!!?? Groomzilla himself.
I swear he's on it more than me!!
So one day for fun, I posted about groomzilla. He was laughing until he realized it was about him. Lololol
He likes to reading everyone's reviews and ideas. And whatever he reads becomes bible law and the proper etiquette we must follow.
Now, in my defense, I wanted a small family get together, he's the one who wanted this big shindig -- as much as I joke, I never could've pulled this off without him.... My bridesmaid would prolly ended up at the alter naked Lolololololol
Now my question today is...

HOW INVOLVED IS YOUR FH, DO YOU HAVE A GROOMZILLA AS WELL???ALSO IS MINE THE ONLY ONE TROLLING LIWEDDINGS?!!? lol

Think I'm gonna start calling it book of the day, seems like all my questions turn into short novels lol

Mine is extremely involved and we make pretty much every decision together. I joke that he's a groomzilla but he's never been on LIW or any other wedding websites ever.... I hope lol

Mine has some opinions here and there. The important things: his tux, the cake, that no more than one Justin Beiber song be played at the reception, making sure I don't go crazy. He is very laid back, but has helped when I asked him to.

No groomzilla for me. He definitely has strong opinions about things and is involved but he has no interest to take the initiative in setting up appointments or following thru with anything. He likes to be presented with a few options and give his opinion... none of the legwork or research. He does enjoy the negotiating before signing the contract though. He loves to get a good deal and he is good at it so that I ALWAYS leave to him!

FH is involved and is always present for every decision, but he just wants whatever makes me happy. He would never fight me on anything unless it was a financial decision.

FH is also very involved, agrees with most of my ideas and says 'I like it, but I don't want to do it' especially for DIY stuff.

He's there when I need help but I like taking the lead with everything (Type A over here). But the downside is that he keeps giving all our guest the wrong information! Wrong hotel info, wrong start times, wrong answer to 'are my kids invited' lol - I told him he is no longer allowed to answer any wedding related questions and to please defer them to me lol.

FH is involved and has some wedding planning, but def doesnt come on LIW. Its mostly just comming to appointments with me and saying 'whatever she wants' and throwing some ideas out there along the way. Def not a groomzilla

He lets me handle all the little ideas but I've always involved him In all the big vendor decisions. I value his opinion and want the day to be about what we put together as a team, not just me making all the plans and him showing up that morning.

My FH is giving input but I am pretty much running the show.

He would rather have a justice of the peace instead of the big wedding we are planning

My fiance' attended vendor appointments & showcases with me & gives his input, but he's not a groomzilla at all haha. We enjoyed the wedding planning process together.

My FH is very involved. We agreed that no decisions are to be made without the both of us. He comes up with his own ideas and and very strong opinions about how things should be. Mostly he focuses on what our guests will like, so that's a good thing. He's not been on LIW, but he hears about it plenty!
