Good humpday morning everyone.

So last night I was tearing my hair out about my next hair trial. The last one S UCKED!!!

I was talking to sofreakingexcited and she sent me some pictures of her wedding day hair (It was tres jolie).

And that got me thinking....

What is the best advice/tip/help you have gotten from another user on the boards?

I have gotten help with Gable boxes, hair, video....enough that its hard to pick one thing.

But for me its how everyone is SO helpful on the board.

I cant just pick one!

The best advice I got on the site has to be hands down from MissWitty (Janet) back in August of 2008.. there were some bad reviews about Smithtown Landing that was making me FREAK OUT but she pointed out and reminded me that my wedding is going to be beautiful, they changed chefs and renovated since those bad reviews were posted!

honestly..every single bride has helped me out in one way or another....it' funny cause u think u know how to plan a wedding and then u realize all the little things u forgot

i would say the best advice woul be to love who you are no matter what and just simply enjoy your day

The best advice I ever got was on a thread that the 08ers did for us-it was around New Years and they sent us into 2009 with their advice and insight.

One of the brides wrote 'Get in the best shape and body you can. You're paying thousands of dollars for pictures you can't re-do.'

That really hit home for me, and was a major motivation. I got myself in the gym 4 days a week (and still going strong!) and lost 15 pounds. I went from a size 8/10 to a 6.


I will forever be thankful for that thread.

KerriJohn has been the most helpful to me She always has such great ideas about everything..even helped me with a cardbox I was making for another bride. She also keeps me in the loop about certain things, as Im usually lost and confused..haha
